Subtitle: I Am Saved Regardless of How I Feel (Pt.1)

Now that you have begun your walk with Jesus, as your LORD and your personal Savior, you feel as though you still have not done enough to secure your salvation with GOD; you have not done enough good to overcome all the sin you have committed in your life. You have doubts concerning your salvation in Jesus. Am I really born again? The answer is unequivocally, YES; you are absolutely born again, saved.

It is imperative that we understand that being obedient to the WORD of GOD does not produce our salvation; we cannot earn it. It is given freely of GOD to us through His Son Jesus. As a result of our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior, we are no longer judged guilty for our sins. We are immediately saved. We have received the gift of GOD, eternal life, through the perfect death and resurrection of Jesus upon the belief in our mind and confession with our mouth to the world that Jesus is our LORD and Savior. (Ephesians. 2:8-10; Romans 10:13)

It is critical that we understand that Jesus wants us to be spiritually productive by allowing Him access to our heart (our mind), and to not be spiritually useless like lukewarm water, and cast away. Through access to our heart (our mind) Jesus is able to replace our stony hearts with a heart of flesh; one that is accepting and receptive of His WORD. Through the His WORDS, the Holy Spirit of GOD is able to reveal to us our true condition (lukewarmness), and create within us a desire to hot spiritually productive for GOD’s cause. By giving Jesus access and control as LORD of our heart (our mind), we can rest assured that we are saved, regardless of doubts that may enter our mind. (Revelation 3:14-22)

Finally, grasp the fact that we have peace with GOD through our LORD Jesus Christ. Through the acceptance of Jesus into our heart (mind), the Holy Spirit now has awakened the spirit of GOD within us, to communicate to our spirit. Our spirit is now able to access our mind and communicate the things of GOD that the Spirit of GOD would have us to know, understand and be able to do. One of the primary communications to our mind is that we are no longer at enmity with GOD. GOD now has peace towards us, and has accepted us as His children. Therefore, we should have a confident joy in standing by faith in the state of GOD’s grace, His unmerited (unearned) favor. (Romans 5:1-2)

Regardless of how you feel, walk in confident peace knowing that we are free of judgment (of being found guilty of the sins we have committed) by the death and resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus.
