Youth Entrepreneurship – A viable solution to unemployment
February is Black History Month and we have been celebrating nonprofit organizations and leaders that empower black greatness and today we celebrate our future generations. Like many young men the idea of growing up and having fast cars, millions in the bank, and a beautiful wife was Kadeem’s response when asked, “What do you want to do in life?” However, his method for achieving his dream was not traditional. He wasn’t interested in the ball player, doctor/lawyer and graduate school suggestions and decided that since he could’t find the job he wanted he had to create it. Now as the Founder of the Young Entrepreneurs of Atlanta Inc., Kadeem Dunwell works to decrease the number of recent college grads that are unemployed in this country.
